The Challenge

Without reinforcement, most people retain very little of what they are taught. In 1885 Hermann Ebbinghaus discovered the exponential nature of forgetting. The forgetting curve illustrates that people will forget much of what they learned within hours and upwards of 80% within days of a class or seminar. Students forget what they learn in class.  Distributors, franchisees and employees forget what they learn at seminars.  Potential customers forget what they learn during a sales call.  And current customers forget about you and other vendors.  

A Solution

Touch365 is a software service that enables you to stay in touch with customers, distributors, franchisees and employees "everyday in a positive way".  Supporting a range of educational and inspirational content options, our solution is well suited for both training and customer appreciation.  Unlike CRM systems, it is passive and is designed to work even when you don’t.  Touch365 offers two delivery platforms, an UpStart page and Upplet as well as a back office control panel for system configuration and reporting.

Two Platforms:

The UpStart Page is a personal internet portal which offers premier search tools and content streams. It works with any internet browser (Windows, Mac or Unix) and requires no software download. This platform is ideal for small and home offices and can be deployed in corporate environments with IT restrictions and Firewalls.

The UpStart Page is a veritable “Swiss Army Knife” of search. It overlays Google, YellowPages, WhitePages, Wikipedia, Merriam-Webster and ebay enabling the user to quickly search the appropriate site for their needs. Built-in bookmarks provide easy access to popular internet sites including the sponsor.  The page supports both image and text content streams.

The Upplet software is a small window that can be installed on most Windows PCs. It includes a MyNotes page for personal goals and values as well as fun and useful gadgets. Recipients can be assured that it is Verisign certified, spyware and virus free. A "silent install" version is available that can be deployed across enterprise networks.

Content Options

The Touch365 provides for a “Though-A-Day” content stream.  Content streams can be up to 365 days in duration and repeat at their conclusion. The system comes with a growing public library but will support private series as well.  Content includes thoughts from some of history’s brightest and enlightened minds as well as contemporary authors.

 
Private series can be created for organizations that highlight a member, best sales practice, testimonial, product of the day or health and beauty tip. The possibilities are endless.

Branding Options

Both Touch365 platforms can be branded with your company or organization’s name and logo.  You can even name your own service and co-brand it if you like.

Invitation Options

The Touch365 service can be given to potential recipients a variety of ways.  It can be given in person, over the phone, by email invitation, by greeting card or gift card.  A link can be put on a website. Gift cards can be given out at a retail outlet.

Back Office Reporting

One of the challenges with most promotional or training products is not knowing how much they are actually used. Does the customer use that logo coffee mug or pen or does it stay in a closet somewhere?  The Touch365 system requires that recipients register in a guestbook. And the system is smart enough to know how many days they have used the service.  It flags when recipients have not touched the system within the last fifteen days.
